Mein Gott! This is highly dramatic, Anne. The Painted Lady is in the spot-light. How did you pull this off??
The frontal capture and that too from a low perspective gives this picture a unique quality in terms of perspective.
The wings seem to be filtering the light coming from the rear.
And your very distinct flowers; they never fail to draw my attention.

mda, ich bin in Wien bei Chris und über Wochenende sind wir in die Czechei gefahren. Du kennst mich schon. Wenn ich indgerwo bin, dann will ich so viel wie möglich unternehmen.
Es scheint so, dass auch unsere schöne Schmmeterlinge gehen. Und du hast nicht die Möglichkeit gehen lassen ohne diese super letzte Darstellung zu fotografieren. Auch dieser BG ist sehr schön im Vergleich mit diesen wunderschönen Farben.

HI Anne,
das Licht hier ist einmalig schön wie es die zarten Flügel und Blüten durchscheint, ich liebe auch den Blickkontakt des Schmetterlings, einfach super, herzlichen Dank - auch wenn es mich ein wenig wehmütig macht - kommt doch gleich der Gedanke in mir, dass der Sommer vorbei ist und wir uns lange gedulden müssen, bis wir diesen Augenschmaus wieder vor uns haben.

un contrasto di luci e colori fantastico in cui le ali della farfalla con le loro trasparenze colorate mi ricordano le bellissime vetrate delle chiese illuminate dal sole, anche la mia A. niobe in controluce mi dà questa sensazione, ma nella tua immagine lo sfondo scuro esalta la luminosità, mi piacciono moltisimo anche i fiori che sembrano ondeggiare e creano un'armoniosa "leggerezza".

The Painted Lady butterfly and the Aster flowers look fantastic against the resulting almost black BG in fine sharpness and set in a pleasing composition.
