[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
In their classification animal kingdom taxonomists stored the snail among invertebrates - crossing of mollusks (Mollusca) - class of the Gastropods (Gastropoda). We recognize the members of his family by their spiral shell in the form of cone and by their two pairs of tentacles:

A pair of eye tentacles one second in tactile function. His shell protects him against the predators and the dehydration because they have to keep permanently a balance between the moisture content of its tissues and that of the environment in which they live.

Most of them are hermaphrodite but the self-fertilization being impossible they couple to reproduce.

To find their food essentially vegetables they move by a series of undulations along the base of their foot.
Very different some of the others by their size and color or the shape of their shell they are particularly well adapted to the climatic variations.
So they have relative on the whole planet.

Sometimes something so common as snail looks beautifull. Perfect light and bright colours, good composition with moss. I like it.

Hi Quentin,
Excellent lighting, great colour and details, well composed.
TFS!

Nice shot Quentin!
Very good framing and quality, lovely colours.
The shell is a bit hot, but that's not distracting.
Overall, good job on this one.

Bonjour Quentin,

Bravo pour votre maîtrise des reflets de lumière. Très difficile d'avoir toutes les parties du sujet aussi bien éclairées avec des reflets de soleil. Votre sujet est tout à fait parfaitement éclairé.

Donald
