Saas Fee View

| I went to Saas-Fee Switzerland last month for a business meeting. Lying in the next-door valley to Zermatt, SAAS-FEE is often overlooked, mostly because it doesn’t have any train access. Oozing out from between the mountains is the giant Feegletscher – or Fairy Glacier. This was the attraction for the meeting since it is early in the season we need a year round glacier to afford us the opportunity to ski/snowboard with the customers. Saas-Fee is a car free village so I enjoyed walking through the village and taking a few photos between setting up and waiting for the customers to arrive. The village is perched on a shelf of pasture at the base of a horseshoe of thirteen 4000m-plus peaks. It takes two gondola rides, one on a train through a long tunnel, and a tow by the t-bar to reach the first ski-able run. The view from the top was awesome though, as you can imagine! |

Hi Julie,
a wonderful place to be, I love this view up to the snowy montains with the marvelous blue sky and some clouds. The small Saas-Fee is still in the dark, nothing is disturbing of this beautiful panorama. Thank you very much, I love it, bye
