A Splendid shot Cecile. You caught it at the right moment for sure. You could try and add some more contrast to it though, since the colours blend together even more towards the flower. Don't get me wrong though, i really like how the colours blend. It makes it very rest full for the eye to look at.

Great shot Cecile! Even at 1/3000 seconds there's motion blur! The blur helps to focus attention to the detail in the face and body, which is excellent. Well taken!

Très jolie prise d'un insecte au demeurant difficile à photographier. Une vitesse encore plus rapide aurait permis de figer encore mieux les ailes, mais on perdrait en sensation de mouvement du coup...

Wow..fantastic capture Cecile!! Getting focus right on these guys standing still is hard...getting focus right on a flying one, is not hard..is an Herculean job ;)) Truly amazing how you got the focus on his head...the unfocused areas surronding him bring him even more. Great image :)

Welcome on TN Cecile. Very nice first post of this flying bumblebee. Sharp and detailed and the blurry wings give an impression of movementt - very well captured even under difficult conditions with the flowers all around.

Une photo très impressionnante, étiez-vous installé avec un trépied? Quand on connait la vitesse avec laquelle ces insectes se déplacent on apprécie encore plus les détails que l'on retrouve sur la photo. Bravo!!!
