It is not possible to crop off the man in this picture, Anne; it would disturb the composition since he is assimilated into the composition as an integral part of it now :-).
Yes, the reflections on water fascinate many of us. Water is not like a mirror. While it reflects, it also transforms what it reflects in accordance with its moods.
You have captured that essence very well in this picture.
