[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From Bahkchisaraj we took the train to Sevastopol to see the Crimean Black Sea Coast and some interesting monuments of Ukrainian culture. The trip took us about 1 hour so we really had almost all day to see this city.

But if you do not know the place where you are, sometimes it is good to ask someone for help, and also we decided to do it. Really we only wanted to known if "our direction" is correct so we ask about this some taxi drivers. But of course taxi drivers (as probably all taxi drivers all around the world) said: "No problem we will show you how to go there, but it is really better for you to take a taxi!" ;> I was there with 7 friends so after a short conversation we decided to take two cars. It was the chaepest taxi I have ever travelled! Only about 5 Euro per taxi (it means about 1.25 Euro per person!!) for a distance about 5 km. Really nice :>

As I noted we took two cars, the first - an old mercedes and the second - well known in this part of world - black Russian Wolga GAZ :>

I took this black car - you know it is always "local transport" so much more "natural" ;>

As soos as I got in the Wolga I saw that under the steering-wheel, where usually in this type of car the place for lock switch is, there were only... "free cables"!! Nothing more!!! :>
The driver saw my reaction but said only "No problem" and took free cables by his hands and after a 2-3 seconds the car motor was working!

I just looked at my friends, their looked at me, well, we were going to our target so everything was ok :)

But suddenly everything was clear, and I understood all things! The driver putted his hand into the pocket for the cigarettes. Only one word was written on the package, and this word was: BOND... ;>


This picture was taken about 3-5 km N from the Sevastopol. This is one of a few stone "cities" localized in the W part of Crimea.

Przyjemny widok, te chmurki dodają uroku. Trudno określić proporcje w tym dość nagim krajobrazie. Techniczna jakość bardzo dobra.

Zabawna historia, jakbym juz ja slyszal ;-)
Zdjecie interesujaco, dosc niezwyczajnie, zakomponowane. W zasadzie zeby lepiej widziec to skalne miasto powinno sie to skadrowac ciasniej ale w ten sposob za to widac dobrze ogrom calego wzgorza.

Hi Radomir.
Funny story. I have read it with great pleasure. I also like a picture but I could not read any word about pictured place. It would be interesting too. I like your POV, great clear and beautiful colours, excellent sharpness and details of the whole image. However there is a desire to see that is from the right side. Well done and written. My compliments and TFS.

Those are cave dwellings, right? Did you walk up there to see if there were any artifacts or drawings? Good capture of an interesting spot. Funny story, too.
