[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another photo and short story from Ukraine (Crimea Peninsula). It was extremely hot day. After a visit in Khan Palace in Bakhchisaray we decide to go somewhere else. Four kilometers from Bakhchisaray we found another special place. It is a geological reserve Kaczynskij Kanion with the rock and monastery Kaczi Kalion. Monastery is a complex of caves - natural and build by human. It was build in VIII century. Unfortunately we had only one bottle of water (for 8 people) and a botlle of something sweet, green and sparkling. It was (I am not sure) about 50 degree in the sun. We started to climb to monastery. At the end of the path there was a beautiful view waiting for us. Unfortunately the lack of water became even more tiresome. When we come down we started to walk back to Bakhchisaray. And one more time we were lucky. We met a man who invited us to a spring with cold and clean water. The spring was hidden behind the trees. After tiring day we ware able to rest in nice cool place. After an hour our new friend bring us buck to Bakhchisaray.

This is a really beautiful view!
I like somuch the POV so close to the mountain wall, and the depth formed with the the others mountains at back.
Excellent composition and very good color saturation.

Milo widziec to zdjecie, szczegolnie, ze mnie w tym miejscu zaparowal aparat i srednio cos wyszlo :(
Ciekawa perspektywa z widokiem na jezioro na ostatnim planie. Moze troche wiecej skal bym pokazal, ale to moj puntk widzenia ;)

Nice story and happy end (I mean your charming landscape photo). I like the perfect clearness of the paints and transparency of the air, excellent composition and sharpness. Opposition of light and shadows is delightful. Well done and TFS.

Swietne fotki! Bardzo ladnie zakomponowane zdjecie pejzazu - moze troche zbyt ciemne ale rozumiem, ze nie bylo latwo przy takim ostrym poludniowym swietle. Workshop stanowi bardzo dobre dopelnienie.

Oh, I see. This trip goes back to the summer of 2005, Krzysztof.
This place in Crimea looks really very interesting. Have you taken pictures of the inside of the monastry too?
From a higher point of view, the flat valley below looks very beautiful.
The depth of view here is also very nice.

This is beautiful landscape.That amazing view that's grande award for water deficienc,I I think.Very nice composition.Nice diagonal lines field well lead eyes into scene.Good depth and details.Very nice and interesting shot in WS too.
