Difficult to generate depth in the image of course...
You used a very small aperture, resulting in a sharp image; even the grass is very sharp.
Wonderful species; unknown to me. It has amazing colours; a living artwork.

Hello Alexei,
You have had the pleasure of seeing the Hebe Tiger moth for the first time, While I, who have not seen it in real life, have the pleasure of seeing it superbly portrayed in this shot.
This is a fine specimen that you show with great shapness lighting, colour and contrasting BG.
This is tightly cropped, but it looks good!

les coulerus est les motifs sont tres etonnants sur les ailes de ce papillon.
le pov n'est pas ideal mais c'est le papillon qui choisit ou il se pose,(j'ai aussi un papillon que l'on ne voit pas souvent sur TN mais le POV n'est pas super non plus).
pour le reste pas de probleme,comme toujours.

Hi Alexei. Very fine close-up of this colourful tiger moth. It has wonderful colours for a moth and i took it to be a butterfly before reading the notes. Well tightly cropped. I have seen those macro ring flash units in the shops. TFS ,Murray.

Indeed another terrific macro work from you, my friend!
I belive you do a great thing when you always carry that great ring flash and the teleconverter with you...you never know whatn you might need them :)
This is indeed a superb species of moths - one with amazing colors and superb pattern on its wings.
A simple but very effective compositon herem taken from an exceptional POV and with really nice sharp details.
