Hello Alexei,
Great close macro showing the front half of this Pentatomid bug. The sharpness, flash lighting, colours and details are excellent and at this magnification exoskeleton is reminiscent of a crab! A reminder that both crabs and insects are arthropods.

Ahh yes..well there are days such as this when many of us visit our archives. But we see them not in a different light...and you have chosen one well...a very good macro shot. You must have some real nice images there in the database to share...and I do not wish to share your remorse for working on computers and upgrading..I am already doing this myself and bogged won in work...I own a T Shirt which says "No! I will not fix your computer". It is a joke T short from ThinkGeek.com

This is another very nice macro from you, my friend.
The magnification given by your 100% macro lens is once again proven and the result is this small bug presented this big :)
Very good details and some excellent colors thanks also to a great usage of the flash. I like the diagonal displacement of the insect in the frame, too.

Don't work too much and spend more time with us on TN ! :-) But I know what it is, it is going the same for me since I started my new job. This picture is really an awesomeclose-up. There are so many details on the bug ! I love the texture of his skin and his colors. You made excellent use of your flash, also. When I look at your picture, I am happy that insects are so small - imagine if they were as big as cats ? It would be frightening ! :-) Very well done !

According to the picture, I have to say that this is very nice portrait of bug species. I really hope to take such macro soon as I just a few days ago bought a new Raynox :) Anyway, details, sharpness and colours of your photo are very good, and it is a great pleasure to watch it! I just wonder if some white reflection could be reduced (an effect of flash working or maybe it is natural colouration of insect?).
