Outstanding sharpness for 1/160 shutter speed! Brilliant, beautiful colors. It seems you were very close to this little bird even with 300mm lens.

My goodness... if he fell, he would roll! It is a wonderful sharp image with perfect depth of focus. It was obliging of him to feed in a tree with his own colors. Great work!

I also had one in my garden last year and it was always a highlight when I saw this majestic bird. It's the biggest finch.

We have this bird in Sweden too, but I havent seen it yet. I hope I will get a picture of it some day.
