[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Although I think zebras can make good subjects, this is the first photo I have taken of one that I like. At Whipsnade where I frequently visit, they are in a huge paddock and are normally too far away to get a decent shot with my 200mm lens. This one was right near the fence so I was able to get my lens right up to the wire, hence no wire lines, and get this shot.

just a slight fuzzy item interfering in the background..could be cloned out

i like the overall pose as it is relaxed and contented..some sprinkling of fill could have made the eyes come alive...but with animals it can be seen and threatening and not advisable..i use it however as it is electronic and duration is only 1/10,000 sec..or thereabouts

Hello Andy,
Great portrait, I like them a lot the zebra´s they have something special but I cannot say what exactly. And I know that for a special shot of zebra´s you have to take your time.

Hi Andy, nice shot. Good details, exposure and lighting. I probably would have changed my POV more over to the left if possible as the branch in the background is a little close to the zebras ear. Apart from that great work. TFS.

I agree that Zebra's make good subjects and you have captured this one really nicely, the details are really superb and its a fine pose, the colours are lovely and the BG and franing is great too.

This is a nice shot Andy,
The details are nice, clear and sharp.
Good colours, lighting and exposure. DOF is spot on and the POV is good.

I think this is absolutely fantastic. The pose of the zebra couldn't be better and the exposure is spot on. Very sharp details and great oof bg. The bg makes the zebra stand out really well. TFS!
