Hi All
Just dropped in for a quick visit and thought I'd let you know I'm still alive ;) although I haven't posted for ages.
This was taken almost exactly a year ago, I still haven't managed a flying shot I'm 100% happy with even a year later, but I like this one because of the light on the wings. It's a male Mallard duck landing in the lake at Stockgrove country park, bedfordshire.
I hope you like it, but any comments/criticisms are welcomed.

Hi Andy,
I'm sure you got really punctual timing to make this shot, really love the sharpness and deep of focus, the wing motion also create a nice dynamic effect, if there are something I want to criticize, were the duck face is a bit to dark and the room to the left is too wide, if the duck given a landing I guess better to put some more room to the right area, but overall it's really a beautiful presentation
