[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been stuck in the office most of the day. Not good for a Sunday in August. Then I saw a Holly Blue outside and went hunting for it. But the butterfly had gone. I consoled myself with a Lavender bush (Lavandula sp.) in the garden that is a Mecca for bees of several sorts.

This was the best I could get in a short session. The image has been cropped and resized for TN, with some sharpening after shrinking.

Hi Alan,
I like the composition and the action of the bee on the flower. Unfortunately the photo isn't sharp. I am not sure if it was caused by the crop or that you just didn't focus it correctly. Maybe you can still recover some of the details by adding sharpness on the spots where it is needed.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Alan. I myself would say this was sharp with good detail just a soft in the wing tips. But taken with warm natural colours. I can see all of the hairs on the body. well done TFS.
Nick..
