This snail turned up on a set of wooden steps near where I live.
Though sometimes I wish it's eyes were in focus more, I'm very pleased with this shot |

The POV is good,but I'd possibly go just a bit higher to capture a bit less of the step and more of the snail.I'd probably crop the bright bit off the top too as it is a little distracting.
An interesting shot though.

I think I would change the POV too. The bright top is a little distracting. Noinetheless I like this. You have managed to capture the translucemnt quality of the shell. There is something comical about the snail too.

Hello Michealangelo, this is a good point of view. I really like the effect of the snail emerging into the light. As you say if the eye stalks were completely in the depth of field that would be great but that's hard with snails as they are always moving (albeit slowly) and it takes a big depth of firld to get the stalk tips and "head" in focus. The bright patch above the snail is a little distracting but a bit of cropping and cloning could fix that.
