I'll bet a zillion Loot and Anna will absolutely love this one Joey. Fine job...Tell me...were they drawn to the Tshirt:-) I say that with a smile of course. Twas not a trekking shirt. And how convenient was it they posed thusly...a wonderful time to click. You are wise beyond your years!

Thank you ever so much for this dual dedication for Loot and myself. It was a great surprise and not expected at all. I really like this one. A lovely close-up with great details and sharpness. It is genuine beautiful birds. You have photographed the pair in a perfect and lovingly pose. The focus is excellent and you have captured it with great sharpness and beautiful light. All the details of the flamingo's feathers, its colour, and especially the eyes are great. Thanks for thinking of us and making us part of this handsome couple. It is much appreciated. Hi Joe

Of course we like it and with the unexpected dedication on top of it gave it double pleasure. Thanks for the kind gesture accompanied by this magnificent "Flamingo Heart".

I find these birds are rather difficult to photograph and to represent while retaining their natural colour and without running into exposure problems. Their pink/red plumage tricks the camera’s sensors and tends to OE very easily while the colours wash out and a well intended shot quickly end in a nightmare. However, you did a magnificent job here. The exposure was spot-on maintaining excellent contrast in the plumage and the colour rendition is splendid with a true natural hue retained. The DOF was wide enough and with the combination of shutter speed you captured wonderful details displaying all the beautiful features of these majestic birds. Just look at those yellow eyes as well. One other aspect which gave the shot quite a bit of visual impact is the soft BG which reflect sporadic blotches of other flamingos in a well isolated and OOF backdrop.
