Great picture, great story and great day Paul! Congratulations for capturing such beauty! I hope water wasn't too cold [today in Poland about 25 degrees or more]. Perfect POV and DOF, most of all I like metal-like shinning colours. Superb, big TFS!

Excellent capture Paul, I loved the shinings on the body and the light on the eyes. Very good contrast on the picture and a wonderful composition.

This is the kind of Photography my macro will get when I get the chance to spot a dragon. It won't fit in the binoc system.

Paul, This is a beauty indeed and now I see why you were excited to get the capture. I know the feeling and I enjoyed reading your note. It was as though I was doing the same thing. Great minds think alike or do the same.

Hello Paul, I can see why you are so enthusiastic about this one..The metallic emerald thorax and that red snout are very striking..Razor sharp..I don't know how you do it hand-held..Did you brace?? Anyway, You must have hands of steel! ;-)) Very well done my friend!

As for the blue collage - yes, I agree fully with you about the rectangular compo, but I was in a hurry and just wanted to get the "colour" thing off my back. Next time, I will put in more effort to do a proper collage.
