[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, here is another Commom Darter on a log, with another log in view. He is so Common he poos in public. I think he is a little embarrased as he is covering his face with his wings.

Well, humourous as it is, this is nature. Dragonflies eat solids and then up to 20% of their body weight a day. This would explain why the poo looks like a dry pellet. I'm not sure if dragonflies drink of get their moisture from food.

I hope you like it!

Otra excelente imagen de un libélula.
Bonita por la perspectiva y la posicion del insecto, por sus tonos y por la composicion.
Buena pregunta... tal vez para responderla, deberías invitar a una de ellas a un bar para conversarlo... jejeje.

Another excellent image of dragon fly.
Pretty by the perspective and the position of the insect, by its tones and the composition.
Good question... to perhaps respond it, you would have to invite to one from them to a bar to talk it... jejeje.

Only points, all the good things the same as previous of hte series :) Thanks for you identification help!!

Very good macro Paul.
Nice colours and ver good sharpness,
Well done.

Paul, Well you did it again-you found a way to make your dragon interesting! Kinda looks like it's praying at first glance. I've asked myself at one point how many ways can you shoot a dragonfly? And then you come up with one on the pooper!! ;-))) Excellent macro yet again!

Excellent macro Paul. Good contrast, sharpness and I like the fine texture of the truck. Nice one.

Cette belle libellule rouge a été photographiée par un pro ;-) La compostion est agréable à loeil et la netteté excellente !
Well done ! TN is a paradise for dragonflies ;-)

Very good paul, great details. I've had a quick looks through the written info I have and it says nothing about drinking and Ive never wittness any drinking habit. the only thing I've seen is them plunging into the water on arrival at a new water, to test it for suitabitlity for breeding in it is believed.

Excellent capture Paul. As usual your technique is on top and the result is a very pleasant picture to look at. Lovely details and colours.

Great capture with very good details and composition. You forgot to add that it is also blushing :)

Bring on the executioner's ax! his head is already in the right pose for the "chop" Teach him not to mess in public! Sorry Paul you triggered me off on this vein! Very nice pose of this critter!

You have listened to my advise and brought in a smaller log. :) LOL! Pun intended. Very fitting title. You made this outstanding capture not just technically brilliant but also so hilarious.

Now you need to capture the raft spider and a floater. :)
