[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken on the same day as my previous Dragonfly post. It’s the last ones I have seen and likely to see this year. This isn’t just a dragonfly shot, look at her 2nd leg. You should be able to see a passenger. I’m not sure what this passenger is, I’m guessing it is parasitic but the only dragonfly parasites I know of are water mites and you can read about those here.

I will try to find out more on this but if you have ideas I’d love to hear them.

This specimen is a female Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum), you can see and read more on this species by clicking the numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.

Seguramente no es la mejor imagen de este insecto Paul... pero es una gran imagen, por algunos de los detalles visibles, por un POV adecuado y tu toque personal de todas ellas.

Surely it is not the best image of this insect Paul... but it is a great image, by some of the visible details, a suitable POV and your personal touch of all of them.

This is a spectacular macro Paul! I like it very much. (Better be careful with your titles though...Mr Pop might set his lawyers on you!)
