Wow, wonderful macro, Alan. Just incredible detail. REALLY incredible detail. I appreciate what seems to be putting yourself at considerable risk to bring us this photo! (Though I hear bee venom is a great hangover cure.) I also appreciate the rotation. But my personal taste would have been for 87 degrees (or 93) instead of 90 (it makes ME feel like I have a hangover).

P.S. Of course, I am less of an improviser than you. Though I find that now when I play the piano by myself, without my wife (who used to be in the marching band), my timing is getting a bit more "jazzy" these days. (Or that's how I rationalize my lack of ability to keep time, anyway).
