The magnificent beast was pictured at Chester Zoo. He looked so sad on his own.
Used the 300mm wide open at f4.5 might try stopping down to 5.6 next time as the overall image seems a little soft.

I think all these lions that we see in zoos are sad but majestic. I like this fellow Ian, so patient and, um, sad! I like how the lighting is on hid head. Well captured, thank you.

he really looks sad, but anyway I think it is a good picture.

nice compositioning but I think that here and there it has a blueish glow over the photo... and maybe it would look better in black and white, but that's a matter of taste :)
