Mama and baby at Chester Zoo UK. I try as much as posible to isolate from unatural areas. Used a Nikkor 300mm f4.5 IFED plus a Kodak DCS 620 for this shot.

Great family portrait, Ian. Very touching. The baby's expression looks so human. Thanks for this wonderful shot of these endangered animals. Well done. : )

Hi Ian, a belated welcome to TN. This photo has all the elements to become a masterpiece. It rates very high on the cuteness scale too. I think you did well with this capture. The crop is a bit tight for my liking but I suppose it because you tried to exclude the unnatural elements? The compo would improve if you shifted the empty space on the right to the left to add space for the mother to look into. Well done.
