Hi Ian, I like this shot. I think the full frame works well, and the little background you can see is out of focus and very even.

I still think the highlights are a little bright (eyebrows and muzzle) and this could be because of the very dark background and fairly mid tone of the rest of the fur.

The focus is possibly a little far back, as the nose is a bit soft,but I'm not sure. If you have PS7 have you tried any sharpening to see what this does?
