[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Sumatran Tigress was fast asleep when I focussed my camera on her.
Just before I took the shot, she opened her eyes and fixed her gaze straight on me.
I just felt she was asking "what you want?".
She is resident at the South Lakes Wild Animal Park in the Cumbrian Lake District, England.
I really do not like zoo's but if they have to exist then this place is a model for how they should be.
The Sumatran tiger, along with all other tigers, is threatened with extinction in the wild state and the people at this zoo actually do a great deal of work in the battle to conserve these beautiful animals.
The Sumatran Tiger is slightly smaller than the Bengal/Indian Tiger but no less beautiful or spectacular.

I love tigers, and you well caught the expression in the eyes. Were you too far away to make a sharper Photo?

Good composition of a great animal.
A pitty it`s a little blur, but I still like it.
