[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the peacocks at the South Lakes Wildlife Park in the Cumbrian Lake District of England.
The peacock is, obviously a verty beautiful bird and is now becoming quite commonplace as a domestic pet in larger homes, with their own grounds throughout the UK.
Some farmer. local to my home, has about a dozen of them running freely around his land and he was acting like he was surprised when a local family of foxes killed all the young chicks.
Of course he went out and killed all the foxes because, obviously, the foxes were the ones in the wrong.
It was nothing to do with the fact that he had introduced an unnatural prey species into the foxes domain and had provided absolutely no secure accommodation for them.
Just another lazy farmer blaming wildlife for his own shortcomings.
So now he is whingeing about his land becoming over run with rabbits and of course, its the rabbits that are at fault, not him....duh!

Regards

Roy
