[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Out on a trip to the ruins of Shap Abbey looking for Redstarts I came across this Dipper chick in the nearby stream. I was watching when the adult arrived and began feeding it. Although it was a long way off I thought it worth a 'record' shot so I set the gear up and waited for the parent to return and this picture is the result. Unfortunately it was a breezy day so it is not as good as it could have been.
Camera settings:- ISO 400, AV, Spot metering, 2x converter, 1600mm focal length, remote shutter cord.

Hi Peter,
this is an amazing capture.
Good composition and movement.
Well done,
Joey

Been trying to get a very similar shot myself with the same species would you believe, so can apreciate the difficulty this shot presents....As a record shot, I'd be more than happy with it.

This is an excellent shot Peter. It's a wonderful moment of the chick being fed. Very good focus, clarity and sharpness. Shadow, tones and colour perfect. Great POV and composition.
