Hello Matt,
Welcome to TN. I agree, the Lake District is a beautiful place and certainly this Chaffinch thinks so. The focus is a little soft and I think a vertical composition would fit better, but still a nice capture with a good defocused background, isolating the subject well. Looking forward to your future posts.
