Autumn Woodland

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello my TN friends,
Apologies for my lack of activity on TN of late - I'm due to be a father in just 6 weeks and have been rather busy as you can imagine!!!
Just found time for a quick posting from a trip to the beautiful Peak District last weekend - the sun was intermittently coming out between heavy showers but I managed to hang around in this gorgeous woodland dell long enough to catch the sun and see the autumn colours in all their glory.
Thanks for looking,
Doug
Hope you like it - think it's lost sharpness in getting the post to a small enough size but hopefully it doesn't detract from the scene too much.
ps taken handheld - wish I'd had a tripod with me! |

Hello Doug,
Good colors and light involved...
Shouldn't forget your tripod, but you have been rather busy;-)

Hi Doug
Very nice autumn colors, red beech is beautiful. I feel like frame.

Hello Doug,
You have captured the very essence of autumn in the U.K. I love the off-centre positioning of the tree with the branches sweeping to the right and straight towards the camera, on the left. The soft, dappled sunlight is delightful.
Bakewell is a beautiful place. You have certainly done it justice!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Hope your baby arrives safely!

Hi Doug
lovely capture with great colour and composition. The beech tree just lends itself to this picture so amazingly well with the lack of branches on the right hand side of your picture...
congrats and get some sleep in now ;-)
