Hello Gary,
you start with an admirable macro of the fly. Point of view, colours and light reflexes are very nice. Background noise could be a bit lower.
Your picture shows a Sarcophaga species, probably Sarcophaga carnaria.

This is a very nice macro image to start with.
Very good sharpness, depth of field and exposure.
Colors and details are wonderful.
The background is nicely soft, but a little to grainy.
