Berry Nice!
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Berry clusters of Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia). Also known as Mountain Ash, this small tree is in the same genus as Whitebeams. It is a member of the Rosaceae family, and bears clusters of pungent, creamy-white flowers in April/May. The berries are ripe by July/August but often remain on the tree until Autumn.
They are a favourite food of many bird species such as thrushes, finches and waxwings. Its small size makes it suitable for smaller gardens and parks, and a yellow berried variety called 'Golden Wonder' is cultivated.

Bonjour Vinny,
Composition simpliste dans laquelle ces fruits sont admirablement mis en valeur par la précision des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
