Sun dried Cormorant

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello. I took this photo on the same morning of my last post, just a little further along the beach and about 20 minutes later.
This seems to be a pretty standard pose for cormorants as on nearly every Groyne marker there was one in exactly the same pose which looked rather amusing.
Thanks for looking

Hi Ewan,
This looks excellent in silhouette, I like it a lot.
The perfect BG for this, and a great POV of this classic cormorant pose :)
Well done & have a great weekend!

Hi Ewan
I agree with Howard here and i, too, like this moody shot.
The classic cormorant pose is very well captured and your POV made sure that behind the bird you'll only have wonderful, contrasting and well saturated colors that would make this silhouette work superbly.
Very well composed and exposed, as well.
Bravo and TFS

PS: we are trying to organize a nice TN meeting sometime next year. it should take place in Turkey or Poland...interested? :)

Hi Ewan,
great shot of a classic Cormarant pose! Well composed with a fine sharp focus and perfect DOF - nicely done mate, good job.

Really nice photo this one. Great framing, good attitude by the cormorant, and a wonderful morning light. Well done - it might have been funny to look at, but you don't always manage to translate that in photos, and here you have!

I really like the contrast of this photo. The colors are wonderful. The rusty platform that this cormorant is standing on accents the warm colors perfectly. Great shot.
