Bean Goose
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Took this picture of the Bean Goose in Christchurch, this is on the mouth of the river Stour in Dorset.
It was the only one about he was with a flock of swans.I was not sure if it was a Greylag Goose, but his legs and feet were orange in colour and not pink.
If any of you can help identify him please let me know.He was quite agressive towards the swans. |

nice compositon and good capture but i'd sharpen it just a tad and increase contrast a bit to lighten the goose. it looks like he has teeth, i didn't know birds had teeth, or maybe a serrated beak.

Hello Nick
I don't know european birds, but my limited knowledge on this subject it does appear to be a greylag .Well focused with good sharp detail, the colours are well saturated.I like the BG,reminds me of the type professionals have when you go in for a family portrait.Nice close up shot.Well done.TFS

He looks like a goose, but what breed I'm sorry I don't know. Good portrait Nicholas, it is a little soft though. The BG is good though, and his colours. TFS
