Hello Nicholas,
This time, you brought here very unique and interesting Tufted Duck I've never seen before.
This friend has very interesting grey(blue?) bills and yellow eyes on black colours of the head. It's very impressive to me. :-)
You've captured very fine pose with nice POV.

Hi Nick,

Lovely shot of this unusual looking duck. Is the beak bluish? I love the tipped beak and the yellow eye. Nice colors and details with nice swirls in the water.

This really is a lovely duck and to be honest its a new one to me...perfectly taken but if I am honest then i feel that you have just over sharpened him a bit...great note to compliment this wonderful fella.

Hi Nick, so nice to see another Tufted Duck here on TN, you have a good pov showing a nice profile on the eye and beak. Very good expsoure on both the whites and blacks. Nice and sharp even with the water droplets on the back.

Gorgeous shot of this amazing duck species - the Tufted Duck.
Very nice and sharp, but what i actually likeabout this one is that the feet are also visible, underneath the bird, as they are pedalling :) It's something one hardly sees at a bird shot.
Other than that, the contrast is very well controlled and the colors are great - specially that vivid eye...i think every photographer that stumbles upon this species wants one of those shots :)
