Hi Nick,

A marvelous close-up portrait of this Swan. The colors are great - especially against the background of the lake. Fantastic sharp details - I love the water droplets on his head. Wonderful eye, beak, and feathers. How lucky you are to have a lake near your home!

Superb Nick....I was pretty certain it was sundown time. One can tell, usually but I have been wrong, by the colours of the rays and direction of course...It gives a warm glow to the bird. Something we do not often see...Very fine Mr Glen!

Just as Joe's is unusual, this is conventional but very well done, in terms of sharpness, lighting, composition and POV to make a fine close portrait of a Mute Swan cob.

Great portrait picture of the fine specimen. I like classic framing and composition, impressive light and superb details/sharpness of the bird image. The water surface are reproduced very well. Its blurriness (not extreme) creates a nice BG. Is it natural colours of the swan plumage? May be it is evening sunlight? My compliments and best regards. Well done.
