This shot is taken at my local park in Poole, Dorset. It was taken as only the Gulls were left.
The park has lots of great memories for me as it is where my grandparents used to take me as a child to feed ducks.
After falling into slight disrepair in the 1990's it has been given a new lease of life and I am pleased to say that the wildfowl seem to be returning in their droves. A big problem used to be the Canada Geese bullying the other birds but Greylag now seem to rule the park. |

Hi Jai
This is a lovely picture. I really like the reflection on the water, but then my eye wanders around the picture looking at the other points of interest...great colours and lovely silhouettes.
Cheers
Sue
Well the geese are big...but they seem to get along wuite well with the Mallards and Red Head ducks out here...I see them every time I go out to the lakes or one of the lakes...floating peacefully together but yes keeping a certain distance, not far however. Very well taken Jai!

Hi Jai, I like that picture, to me it is very British even though we see modern buildings in the background. It's the nice curved river with the silhouetted gulls because of the sun that gives it sparkles. The colours are beautiful and add peace to this sunsetting landscape. Very nice, thank you,
Francine
