A shot looking west over one of my favorite east Dorset locations of Kimmeridge Bay on the Jurassic Coast of southern Britain. This area is popular with walkers, surfers and divers alike with its spectacular views of the hills and coastline, underwater reefs provide a rich habitat for underwater life and creats a good wave for riding.
Another point of interest is the rock here can actually be burnt due to it's high carbon content, out of shot on the hill side there is a nodding donkey giving the only sign of an oil well which is part of the same oil reserve that provides oil to the farms of the North Sea. |
