[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was up early this morning with my good friend Mr Haynes and Erve. We were both bleary eyed but dragged ourselves to Arne Nature Reserve. As usual this haven for wildlife did not let us down, we were greeted by Sika Deer and lots of different bird life. There are several ponds which are full of all sorts of creatures such as Newts, Pondskaters and a myriad of Dragonflies and Damselfies. This is where I took this Large Red, unfortunately not the best focus as they were quite flighty but I liked the colours.

Dang...you and Paul work together well...I can see it is a dynamic affect when more than one get together over there. When it happens, there is some kind of magic that goes along with it.... A fine image Jai...congrats...It is a step up the ladder in sharpness and all such things..well done!
Bob

Hi,

On the road now and just marking now, will be back later...

Hello Jai
Problems with sharpness...I think not!!...A stunning capture far better than you give yourself credit for...Exemplary shot worthy of a reference book.
All the Best
Paul

Hi Jai. This is a good close up of the Red Damselfly. worth the geting up for. You have sharp focsing and fine detail . with natural looking colours. well done TFS.
Nick..

Hello Jai,

Very nice capture of these beautiful damselfly. Good POV, DOF and sharpness. Even if they stay quiet this species is not so easy to capture, I think it is because the colour patterns on the thorax and the head are quite complex and moreover they are very hairy compared to other damselflies. Good light and colours.
Cheers,
Mariki
