Hi Matthew,

Its a beautiful portrait of the bird :) thanks for sharing, here is my 2 cents

* do you think there could have been more space in front of the beak ?

* In increase in DOF would have done good i guess as the head and tail are ever so slightly out of focus, but the middle of the bird is in clear sharp focus.

* Just maybe, do you think the details in the white patch could be improved near the eye by digging into the RAW file ?

* The cut in the tail could have been avoided

Great shot every little detail is given, very sharp and focused, really good work the only thing that gets in a way is that frame is too close to the bird, needs more background space!TFS!
