| This is Spanner, she's a flegling sparrow we're hand rearing. She was picked up by school children and handed over through various hands until she reached me. Spanner was in a very weak state when we got her, she has improved vastly whilst she's been in our care, now she can fly and land properly, having grow her flying feathers. We expect she'll be leaving us within a week. This is a favourite spot of hers on my girlfriends Gerbera. |

Well done you since these little birds are getting rare, that explains how you got so close to capture such detail alittle more DOF would have been good.
