Male Chaffinch
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is a male Chaffinch, the females are easily identified from the males as they are a buff coloured. We have around twenty to thirty of this common woodland bird visiting our garden at present, they now have juveniles with them. They are mainly seed eaters and search the ground for food. They particularly like sunflower seeds but will also eat peanuts. They are very gregarious, often heard chirping their song loudly in the trees near us. |

Ciao Matthew, bella foto!
Mi piace il contrasto dell'uccello sullo sfondo scuro.
