Found this Blue Tit chick as it was calling for it's mother. Seemed healthy enough so took a couple of shots and left alone...the parents will continue to feed the chick even though it is out of the nest.
Used a point and shoot as I could get very near without stressing the bird.

This is a beautiful image John. Love what you have done with the lighting here, really makes the chick stand out and what wonderful colour in him. Detail, sharpness and attitude in your notes, all spot on.

I have yet to see Blue Tit chicks this year. I am not sure what you have done with this photo but it looks unnatural to me.

Interesting that it has blue feet!! Never seen this bird before. Not too sure if the frame detracts from the image. Pic might be a tad over saturated, excellent DOF, lighting.
