Great focus just using F4.
Sharpness and exposure are excellent and the way the grebe does stand out against the lighter reflections on the water in the background is wonderful.

Excellent details for a shot taken under difficult circumstances.
The POV really shows off that crest, which is the badge of that handsome bird. Good exposure and well-saturated colors.

Great photo of a grebe. Unfortunately the ones I see are on fishing lakes and they tend to be very shy and steadfastly refuse to come in close enough for a decent photo. That's one of my goals, lol,... to get a great crested grebe shot.

Wonderful detail in this image, super colors and the DOF is perfect... I love the the fact that the water is OOF in both BG and FG... very nice. Good composition as well.
