| Caught this Mute Swan as it hit take off on Connaught Water, Epping Forest. The light wasn't the greatest - but on the other hand it meant that I wasn't over-exposed on the white feathering. I spanned the swan and clicked away as it headed across the lake. |

Excellent capture!! Great DOF .. entire bird is in focus .. looks like your ISO is high, pic looks a little graint but you would need that to get the focus in low light. Good shot, I might have cropped it a little closer.

good POV and DOF and in my idea good cropped as well,

It's a great capture, a good pose and the exposure is about right. Nice and sharp as well.
It's a shame the water's murky brown instead of crystal blue, though ;)
Oh well, there's always photoshop.
