[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunday evening at sunset, beside the lake I heard the calls of geese,the cry of an owl, and the chattering of small birds interrupted occasionally by a complaining duck. The rustling of unseen creatures among the rushes searching for food or shelter...it was so calming to be in this plce which seemed so far from man, but in fact was only a few hundred feet from the main road in front of the park. Shot from the lakeside with a tripod on uneven ground.

A lovely scene well captured.
It's a bit grainy in the dark parts, but otherwise marvellous colours. Could use a little rotation if I'm not mistaken. But it delivers the mood you describe in the note pretty well. Nice job, Christopher.

Hi Christopher

Really quite beautiful, moments like these are are hard to capture but you've done well here i think! a good DOF and great colours, like Ari says horizon could need a little bit of a tweak clockwise but not distracting enough to take anything away from this photo.
