[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) is a frequent and very welcome visitor to my garden.
He is in his breeding colours and seems to have lost his harem of 4 females, How careless!!
He normally leaves on foot but today I had my camera to hand as he decided to leave on the wing.
Pheasants were introduced to the UK as a Game Bird for shooting purposes but there is now a healthy wild natural population.
They are great characters and so much fun to observe and capture.

Hello Billy,

A good dof, keeping the pheasant sharp but blurring the b/g.
The pov is unusual but is interesting, in that our eyes follow the path of the bird.
It is placed perfectly in the frame.

Hi Billy,

A wonderful view showing us the view this pheasant sees as he flies. Fantastic details of the wings and tail feathers. We still get a glimpse of his colorful head. You have frozen him in flight perfectly.
