well, what can i say about this shot.
first of all its not one of my best as you can all see, but i think its a once in a lifetime shot for me.
i was in the garden at the time shooting ladybirds and i had the ladybird on a stem of grass moving her to a better shooting position and this green bottle fly appeared out of nowhere and as a result i got this shot.
ive cleaned it up as best i can in ps, i only got 2 shots and this was the best. i would give anything to get a better shot of this.

Hi Clint,
Surely a lifetime shot, very curious and nice. Great photo.
Thanks for sharing!
Hernán

Excellent image Clint!
The lighting really helps me see the ladybug and tbe fly.
Noce depth of field and positioning!

Clint I remember you submitting this on Psig. Did you glue the ladybird seems like unusual white stuff along the underneath of it?

Hello Clint,
It's really a hilarious shot! The focus is not so good but the composition and moment captured are great.

Well, Clint, this is a very decisive moment you caught there. Really once in a lifetime as you say. I like the details a lot and I dont see anything wrong with it. You say it's not a good shot, but I think it's great!
Sorry I cannot give you critique. ;)

Hello Clint,
Terrific shot! Are you sure you didn't place the fly there as well? :-)) I think you managed to get them pretty much in focus and colours are fine even though the background is very light. Well done!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Clint,
Wonderful macro shot. Very funny too. Almost like a double decker bus of two kinds. Amazing colours and sharpness. Very nicely done.
TFS.

Wow this is good - and what a pose. Looks like he is sitting down on the job. Very good sharpness Clint - I say BRAVO!

Hi Clint, this is really a lifetime image. And I don't agree with the folks who say the focus is not sharp. How much DOF do they expect in a close up macro? The hairs on the fly's back are in perfect focus. If anything is undesired here, that is the back light - but what can one do? Ask the bugs to sit there while he moves a background paper behind them. :)

Ricardo

An unique opportunity my friend, very well taken advantage of the same one.
Great capture, without doubts... the lone presence of the ladybird has been an excellent shot, but with the arrival of the fly, it is an image exceptionally strange.
Great sharpness and focus, with an impeccable bottom that collaborates with the composition.
Great work... thank you for sharing.
My best greetings... Ricardo
