| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The freezing fog that brought the airports of Great Britain to a grinding halt for three days and nights left its mark upon everything it touched. Whole forests glistened with thick layers of frost and ice as the freezing mist covered the land like a translucent white blanket that seemed glowing at times, and murky at others. It was an amazing and almost unnerving thing to behold, with only 20 feet visibility during the day and almost none at night. It came on so quickly that not all the leaves from autumn had yet fallen from the trees before being frozen. |

I like how the ice is around the edge of the leaves.
Good shot, excellent light and compo.
