[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When I returned home to England from holiday in the USA just before Christmas...there was a massive blanket of freezing fog covering all of lower England awaiting me. It caused all the flights in and out of airports to be cancelled for three days and nights. The day after we returned home I went for a wandering walk and was amazed at the coating of deep frost and ice covering every surface. The white frosting on this tangled mix of vines and hedgerow caught my eye. The contrast of textures and colors was simple but interesting, I thought. Not a perfectly beautiful shot...but it captured the quiet essence of everything standing still for a time. I will let you judge. By the way...apologies for the lack of focus. I forgot to re-sharpen before posting. I will do it later and then repost.

Hi Christopher,
The tumbnail didn't look that impressive, but I am glad I opened the photo, sicne this photo has some real beauty. The colors, clarity and sharpness are perfect. The forst gave those leaves and braches some extra beaty.
TFS,
Niek
