Maybe ladybird is a banal subject but you photographed it in a way that's certainly not banal :-) I like very much the diagonal composition and nice use of vignetting.
Also the details on the body and well managed light reflexes and simply great!

Great contrast with this shot. The muted BG and darker corners from the vignetting really makes the red stand out more. Nice and sharp as well.
