[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We have a lot of damsel flies around our ponds but this one was unusual because of the wing markings and even more striking colour than usual. I used the 10x optical zoom and F2.3 with spot focus on the body of the fly. No post processing was required. The early evening light was warm but it took about half an hour to capture a suitable image since the damsel did not sit in one place for long!
