Lovely closeup capture of this beautiful Male Siskin!
Wonderful sharpness and taken from a perfect POV. The colors and the textures on the feathers of the Siskin, are perfectly shown. The blurry BG is great and gives great contrast to the subject.

A beautiful Siskin in a lovely pose. Someone had commented that my Lesser Goldfinch reminded him of this bird and now I can see the resemblance. I think the Siskin is larger though. Your always marvelous colors, details, background and composition.

Siskin is very beautiful passerine bird. I also like it very much. But it isnt seen in Niğde and near provinces. I found it Northwestern Turkiye in last winter. but I couldnt capture very well since bad light condition.
you are lucky to see it very closely and to capture with a perfect shot. sharp details, POV/DOF and composition with lichened dry stick wonderful. but also great lighting, exposure, BG and coloration. thanks for sharing this beauty.
